Most Christians have been taught to see “ministry” as something that happens somewhere else: in a pulpit, in a far-off mission field, inside a nonprofit. But from Genesis to Revelation, God paints a far bigger picture.
The Bible’s first command is not “go to seminary”; it’s be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. That’s not a suggestion. It’s a calling. For most of us, that calling looks like going to work each day to solve real people’s daily problems. For some of us, it looks like building companies, employing people, and creating abundance in a world still scarred by the Fall.
