In this video I address the seeming confusion by some Trump allies (such as Tucker Carlson) about Trump’s position on Iran.
The President has made his position clear since years before he ever ran. He's not being dragged along by Israel: he's the one leading. And he's going to finish what he started, one way or another.
Indeed, Trump’s been saying the same thing — in the same words — since 2011. 56 times I counted (and I didn’t look that hard).
And the President has enormous public support:
Trafalgar - 74.4% support the President eliminating Iran’s nuclear program “by any means necessary”.
Harvard Harris Poll - 85% say Iran must not be allowed to have nuclear weapons.
Trump approval - Insider Advantage has Trump 54.4% approval vs. 44.1% disapproval.
But even if none of that were true: he doesn’t care what Netanyahu thinks. He doesn’t care what the Intelligence Community thinks. And to be perfectly blunt, he doesn’t care what YOU think. He cares about doing what he believes is right for America.
And he isn’t running for re-election.
Even Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called himself “Trump’s junior partner” in this. Trump’s called every shot from the beginning. He started this. He’s going to finish it, and on his terms.
Trump also sees the bigger picture. The Day 61 comment is directed at Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, and to a lesser degree at everyone else with whom we’re negotiating a high-stakes trade deal.
How Trump’s critics — especially of the MAGA variety — miss any of this is a mystery. But I address all of that and more in this video.
