Zohran Mamdani could be the next mayor of New York City and may well serve as poster child for an activist alignment that hates Western civilization. Radical hard-left groups and Islamists appear to be collaborating against Western nations, especially the USA.
As political Islamists strive to be elected to government office, then Islamicize their host culture through a time-tested systematic implementation of Sharia law, while the radical far-left presses for socialism, open borders, globalism, and equity for an ever-growing list. Their conjoined opposition to Western civilization with its capitalism and Judeo-Christian foundations unites their passion and peculiar partnership.
The Leftists
Why would leftists align themselves with a group having a history of throwing gays off tall buildings? The far left’s strategy cannot be one of thinking their radical Islamic friends will see their moral purity, leading to the rejection of Sharia law, jihad, and work toward Islamic reforms in America. Left-leaning historians understand that radical Islamists will never allow Allah’s perfect law to be reformed. Islam has a 1,400-year record of success in methodically spreading Sharia law within naïve nations.
Could the hard left be drunk on their vision as the smartest people in human history and too cunning to be caught in the constricting coils of Islamic rule and violence in the end? The fable of the Scorpion and the Frog is pregnant with relevance for today.
We simply cannot understand the contemporary culture war in America without understanding the invasive philosophy of cultural Marxism. This includes a cabal of constructs known as critical theory, multiculturalism, political correctness, intersectionality, identity politics, white privilege, critical race theory, etc.
Fleeing Hitler’s Germany before and after WWII, a group of German philosophers and educators planted the seeds of this ideology into our American university system. Men like Georg Lukacs, Herbert Marcuse, and Theodor Adorno, of the Frankfurt School in Germany, were trained to translate the ideology of Marxism from economic terms into practical cultural terms. This new revolution would not promote bullets, bombs, and bloodshed in the beginning, but look to smash religion (Christianity in particular), morals, authority, and American patriotism.
Marxist theorist Antonio Gramsci saw the 2,000-year impact of Christianity on the West and concluded that this de-Christianization would begin with a “long march” through the cultural structures of societies. Things like religion, family, media, and education must be turned upside down and radically transformed.
Politicians, professors, activists, and community organizers found power and social traction in organizing and promising each minority group certain rights, privileges, benefits, etc. They knew it would be a long road as cultural change worked its way through the institutions of government, education, corporations, sports, music, entertainment, and the Christian church.
In deconstructing America from a capitalist free market economy and Judeo-Christian moral foundation, the virtues and values that made America strong must be attacked, eroded, shamed and destroyed. The new storytellers of change must lift high the “oppressed” and decry the “oppressors.” Nagging new narratives must grate and goad, thus promoting change. Progressive theologians and liberal pastors must continue to blur the Bible, thereby adding to moral confusion. Universities must churn out revolutionaries and reactionaries — even those willing to use deception and violence. The willing media must help make “examples” of hypocrites, racists, homophobes, Islamophobes, etc. An undercurrent of fear prevents many patriotic, religious, and traditionally minded people from speaking out and standing up.
The Islamists
Just like Nazi ideology should not be allowed to coexist within a civilized society, radical Islamic ideology cannot coexist in our modern world. For it yearns to destroy the Jew, the infidel or Kafir (non-Muslim), the westerner, and even Muslims different from themselves. This group has a bent for blood, and they are very thirsty — remember 9/11?
Islam enters a nation as both a religion and a political movement. The Sharia shares a comprehensive strategy of immigration and how to slowly Islamicize the host society. Their first step is to make friends by announcing that Islam shares a history and is a brother religion to Judaism and Christianity. They look to build bridges with the media and find friends among Kafir (non-Muslim) leaders.
Sharia law, which is Islamic law, serves as the basis for demands that Muslims make on their host culture. When local schools are asked to give up a room for Islamic prayers or when hospitals are asked to treat Muslim women in special ways, these requests are used to implement Sharia law. As local governments give way to their demands, eventually you find Muslims commandeering London streets for Muslim holy prayers — thus we see Sharia law in full bloom.
Zohran Mamdani proposes to decriminalize all drugs, provide free bus service citywide, impose rent freezes, allow illegal aliens to vote and hold elected office, mandate universal childcare (age six weeks to five years), and institute city-owned grocery stores. His history of supporting Palestinian terrorist groups and repeated attacks on Israel are concerning for NYC.
Just as the fabled frog trusted the scorpion not to sting as it provided an Uber ride across the pond, New Yorkers trust Zohran with his good looks and smiles to get them to the promised land of prosperity. History will reveal the sting or bling of the Big Apple.
