A most insightful segment with Dr. Martin! Iran’s direct attack on a U.S. destroyer in direct violation of the ceasefire is no surprise to anyone. But the U.S. pretty quickly brought it down. Iran is on its last legs. Their Air Force is largely destroyed, their Navy at the bottom of the ocean, they are running out of ballistic missiles and land mines, they are running out places to store their oil, and their government is fragmented and plagued by factionalism, infighting and intrigue. The United States and Israel have largely achieved most of their objectives. A negotiated settlement could happen, but for it to work the Mullahs must negotiate their exit and the Islamic Republic must surrender unconditionally. China and Iran’s alliance was always a marriage of convenience. There was no actual affection between these two nations. I think China is tired of Iran’s nonsense. People are lined up around the block in Beijing to get gas. That’s all they care about, not that the Islamic Republic survives. China has essentially abandoned Iran and thrown them to the wolves.
Iran dumping oil in the Persian Gulf they’ve nowhere to store must be stopped at once! It’s a huge environmental hazard! Russia and China are watching all this that’s going on, so we need to keep that in mind. The fall of the Mullahs puts major pressure on Putin to cry uncle in Ukraine and removes a major ally and source of oil for both. The United States doesn’t need Iran’s oil and Europe hasn’t been helpful at all unless forced to be. Germany and Italy did nothing to assist us. Then Trump said he’d pull U.S. troops out of both nations. Now all of a sudden their waving the red, white and blue and singing “God Bless America.” If it comes down to a waiting game, bet on President Trump to come out the other side victorious. The Gulf States are now supportive of what we are doing as I think our success has set them more at ease. The currency exchange we’re doing with them is huge! The UAE is most certainly a country we should be embracing. The UAE has cultivated close ties with America and Israel, built up Abi Dubai as a global financial hub, made labor reforms, guaranteed equal pay for equal work for men and women, is doing pioneering Holocaust education, and was the only Arab country to publicly condemn October 7th.
