Rod Martin & Frank Gaffney discuss the Iranian regime on the brink; PLUS the SPLC's funding of the hate it was supposed to fight, ActBlue's foreign money laundering, plus the Trump class battleship.
After Lawrence of Arabia and Co entered Damascus during WW1 he witnessed the chaotic wrangling of the Arab leadership. It seems to me that the Iranian leaders, whilst they are Persian, not Arab, are similarly argumentative between each other. Is this racist? Not sure. Perhaps it’s more of an observation/explanation.
The culture in much of the region is far more disposed to haggling than are Americans, who are used to there being a fixed price and find car dealerships stressful.
A very good and informative segment with Dr. Martin hosted by Frank Gaffney on Securing America! The IRGC have seized control of the government from the Mullahs and now are doing their best to keep a dying regime alive. Trump intendeds to use this ceasefire to let them fight amongst themselves thus causing the regime to collapse. Then democracy can blossom in Tehran. The Islamic Republic is on it’s last legs. A free democratic Iran can be very wealthy indeed with all the oil they possess. The Islamic Republic can’t enjoy that because of the American and NATO blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian government is losing hundreds of millions of dollars everyday because of this. The Trump class battleships are needed to modernize our Navy. The price tag on them isn’t too bad and President Trump likes it, so it will likely happen.
The SPLC back in the 70s, 80s and 90s did legitimately good work fighting hate in America. But they ran into a problem, racism is rapidly fading and race has never been less of a factor in American life. So they needed a way to keep their jobs and continue to get rich. Idealism gave way to greed. They funneled money into hate groups like the KKK and American Nazi Party in order to produce the hate, then got donors plagued by white guilt would give them all their money and they could shake down corporations for even more cash. They had dollar signs in their eyes. The SPLC became a shill for the Democratic Party as well. Soon, they weren’t just going after legitimate hate groups but individuals and groups they disagreed with politically like Mr. Gaffney and the Family Research Council. They smeared folks like Charles Murray, James Lindsay, Ayaan Hirshi Ali, Maajid Nawaz, and the late Charlie Kirk who weren’t or aren’t remotely hateful.
They funded the Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville. That was all their doing. Donald Trump by the way never called Nazis very fine people. He was referring to the Confederate statue debate in that part of the speech and he issued the qualifier that he wasn’t talking about the Neo-Nazis and white nationalists who “should be condemned totally.” By the way, Confederate statues should not be taken down as they are part of our history and the Confederates were Americans too. President Trump has defended the flying of the Confederate flag and the public display of Confederate statues which is a good thing! Act Blue is in big trouble and would do well to get a good lawyer! They funneled foreign money into the coffers of the Democratic Party. This is blatantly against the law! They should have the book thrown at them by the justice department.
Lastly, I wanted to say that I would be curious to hear Dr. Martin’s thoughts on the UAE departing from OPEC. This is a game changer for the global energy market. OPEC is a racket that has been ripping all of mankind off. I don’t think they need to exist anymore and the UAE leaving is a huge step forward! The UAE wants to be independent and have its own energy policy. Perhaps that means America and the West won’t have to pay an arm and a leg anymore for oil. Perhaps now oil prices will fall. It’s a huge shift in the global economy! Donald Trump has called out OPEC before for their predatory practices. He was 100% right it turns out. What a surprise!
