Excellent points, Rod. This is not just about winning a court case. This is serious stuff. People died because the government banned the truth! Democracy suffered because the government shut down the Hunter Laptop story. A Media Research Center study showed that Trump would have won the 2020 election if the story of Hunter’s laptop had been covered by the media. This is history-changing stuff! This is life-changing stuff when it comes to the Covid scandal. We need to have more than a court decision. They’re should be prosecutions and convictions for all involved starting with “the big guy.” Thank you for putting an exclamation mark on this!

I have a feeling we may see some of this again in Kash's "grand conspiracy" case in SDFL.

"The First Amendment is not a suggestion. It cannot be suspended because some would-be tyrants or panicked public-health grandees decide the peasants are saying too many incorrect things online."

How many times have we seen School Board meetings shut down, a speaker arrested, a mic turned off, for reading from a book being pushed of Grade Preschooler's?

narrative über alles!

Praise God for the historic settlement in Missouri v. Biden! Joe Biden will be remembered as one of the worst Presidents in American history. I consider him the second worst ever behind only Andrew Johnson. Biden was demented and not fit to serve in office, even the mainstream media acknowledges this. But putting that aside, his failures and bad decisions are many in the White House. He abused his pardoning power, couldn't solve the record high inflation plaguing the country, Build Back Better and his Student Loan Forgiveness Plan failed miserably, he completely mishandled COVID, abandoned Israel during the Gaza War, gave six billion dollars to Iran, botched the withdrawal from Afghanistan, caused the Southern Border Crisis, spent excessively, inflamed the political divisions that exist in this country, ruthlessly prosecuted the January 6th protesters, the Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal, the Robert Malley Scandal, waging war on parents, injecting wokeness into the federal government, appointed a c***** cabinet, and much more. But the worst thing he did that few people know about, is the censorship-industrial complex that the Biden administration and Big Tech created together.

The settlement is a huge victory but much more remains to be done. Biden and the Tech Barons worked together to censor American citizens and label any disagreement with what the government and the corrupt scientific establishment's "established knowledge" which could NOT be challenged. Any information to the contrary was "misinformation" and "disinformation." Now all that is out. The government of the United States now has to live with binding limits on its ability to pressure social media platforms to silence Americans whose views they don't like. I'd like to thank Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt for launching the case as Missouri attorney general! But we can't rest on our laurels! We need to go further! All the steps Rod calls for here must be adopted! There must be full exposure of everything that happened. Those involved in it should be named, shamed and indicted for their abuse of power. Institutional penalties need to be dealt out. All the agencies involved should be placed under Congressional oversight, their budgets slashed and reformed from top to bottom. The CISA in particular needs reform, a smaller budget and greater oversight from the federal government.

All those who were harmed as a result of this should be given an official apology by the federal government and paid substantial reparations. Congress should codify into law when this settlement to begin which should be immediately. A class action lawsuit should be launched by those who were negatively affected by the Biden administration's efforts. All the officials involved will be prosecuted for violating American's civil rights. The first amendment is quite clear: "Congress shall make no law...abridging freedom of speech." The first amendment applies to absolutely everyone be it Flat Earthers, the local Republicans club, the Democratic Socialists of America, 9/11 Truthers, the KKK, Holocaust Deniers, the New Black Panther Party, La Raza, or the Church of Satan. That especially includes speech the President and his administration don't like. You can criticize or make fun of the President all you like. You can create memes mocking the government all you like. You can hold protests against the government anytime you like as long as you have a permit. Want to call Joe Biden "sleepy Joe" or make fun of Donald Trump's tiny hands or Barack Obama's enormous ears? Feel free to do so! You want to do a comedy skit mocking or ridiculing Kamala Harris or J.D. Vance? Go right ahead! You want to write a song bashing the CIA or FBI? No problem!

"The censorship machine must be exposed in full. Its victims must be made whole. Its perpetrators must be named. And the system that made it possible must be broken before it is used again."

Amen.

But, what chaps me is that the suit and settlement are pretty narrow in scope considering the number of agencies that were involved. Yes, it's a victory but as you say it's not nearly enough.
