I disagreed with the closing of the Department of Education, the repeal of LBJ’s 1964 executive order on affirmative action, getting rid of birthright citizenship, dismantling the U.S. Forest Service, his handling of the Epstein investigation, his prosecution of Jerome Powell, the handling of ICE operations, sending illegal immigrant criminals to dungeons in El Salvador, and privatizing the U.S. Postal Service for example. I also think he needs to get off social media. Nor do I always like him shooting from the hip. All that being said, I think he’s done a solid job as President and has restored my hope for America’s future. He very much reminds me of Ronald Reagan in the 1980s. He really is a brilliant man. He plays a character in public, but if you look at his whole career and read his books, you see the method to his madness.
He said the things he says now, just in a more acceptable way for the elites. Ahead of the summit with Xi, Trump has him right where he wants him. We control all the major choke points for China. India and Indonesia who historically have been non-aligned, are firmly in the western camp. Their ally in Venezuela is gone. Russia is bogged down in Ukraine. Iran has been greatly weakened. Trump is rolling back their influence in South America. Their shadow oil trade is gone. China has no choice but to cut a deal for us to sell them oil while they refine minerals for us. But they won’t be the king of mineral refinery game for long.
The United States is developing its mineral refinery capacity in Texas and its booming like gangbusters right now! Plus, we’re getting our refined minerals from Australia and someday Ukraine too. China buying our oil would be very profitable indeed for everyone. They pretty much have no choice because we took away any other means they had of getting it at a discounted rate. Now they have to pay full price on the open, legal market. As for Iran, Trump is using the ceasefire to train Iranian rebels to fight the Islamic Republic. China doesn’t really care about Iran, they always just wanted their oil. But an atheistic secular regime and a bunch of religious fanatics were never going to get along, let’s face it. Iran is loosing $400-$500 billion dollars a day thanks to the blockade, they are quickly going bankrupt.
President Trump is doing the best he can to cut down the $38 trillion dollar national debt. He has gotten us off to a good start with the $50 billion dollars that was saved with the DOGE, the shuttering of USAID and the NED, the defunding of PBS and NPR, and tackling Medicare fraud. Kevin Warsh was an excellent pick for Federal Reserve Chairman. I’m a free trader all the way, but I 100% support Trump’s tariffs. They are bringing jobs back to America and helping re-industrialize this county. We’ve collected a whopping $110 billion dollars so far. That’s huge! China can’t rip us off on trade anymore either. You’re also right when you say when the media says “the rest of the world” they mean a small number of elites in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.
They are a bunch of crusty old people who are unmarried, have no children and are rich. They have no reason to care about the future and they don’t. But that’s not the case for us Americans. In any event, they are not talking about Asia, Africa, the Middle East, or Latin America. Most world leaders fear Donald Trump. They know he says what he means and means what he says. He doesn’t play games with our enemies. The Netherlands, Sweden and Estonia are all excellent allies. The rest of NATO needs to take notes from them. Canada and Western Europe need to stop freeloading and build up their militaries and increase military spending. No more leeching of the United States of America! No more free rides for the Canadians, British, French, Germans, Italians, and Spanish! Europe is waking up! The days of the old establishment in Europe are numbered! Starmer, Macron and Merz are all on the way out! Mass immigration is gradually fading away. Brexit has been proven by history to have been right! I used to be against Brexit, but not anymore seeing how much freedom it gives Great Britain and how corrupt and weak the EU is.
