Amen to this. Yes, it’s true that seminaries have too long been issuing MDivs without spines. And it’s true many pulpits are filled with spineless men. But so are the pews. It’s time for men to be true men…men with spines, open Bibles, and calloused knees from so much prayer.
We first substituted uniformity for unity, then we created denominations, so we became of Paul or of Apollo, at that point we substituted conformity for uniformity... What was always required was unity, where a hand unabashedly performs as a hand and an eye as an eye... But that demand virile courage.
Well this sounds better than the whiny crap the pulpit pushes but I do not know of any local pastor or church that believes the same, leaving us w an ideal and no options…
If I could find a pastor of any denomination w a pair between his legs Id go to hear what he has to say; but that 30 year hiatus has filled the churches w weak leadership. The current pope among the most corrupt and cowardly of them all!
