Rod Martin & Frank Gaffney discuss how the Supreme Court's ruling against racial gerrymandering will impact the midterms, plus Trump's "tough love" toward NATO and the future of the alliance.
I’m cutting my social media use way down, but I couldn’t miss this segment with Dr. Martin and Frank Gaffney on Securing America. Racial gerrymandering is both un-American and unconstitutional. It’s also illegal by the way. The Civil and Voting Rights Acts don’t allow it. Your turning these bills on their head if you think they do. It’s also blatantly against the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment of the Constitution. Not to mention President Barack Obama a black man, was elected twice by a majority white voters and two-thirds of the black representatives in Congress were elected in majority white districts. The vast majority of Americans don’t care about your skin color, they care about the content of your character. The Democrats were using this evil practice to give themselves more seats. Twenty to as many as forty perhaps. Now those seats will go to the GOP and more black Republican officials will emerge as well, if the DOJ follows through on this which I’m sure they will.
As the midterms I think it will be a red wave. Republicans likely will hold both houses of Congress. The Democrats are as incompetent and politically inept as ever and having nothing to show for the past couple years other than reflexively being against Trump in everything no matter what. But have they actually accomplished anything on behalf of the American people? No. Donald Trump has a long list of accomplishments. The economy is in a recession right now but early signs show an economic boom is on the way. But this is nothing unusual or new, there was a brief recession from 1982 to 1984 before the economy boomed in the later years of Reagan’s Presidency. Ronald Reagan and Paul Volker made the tough decision to do what was right for the economy by combining temporary monetary policy with supply-side fiscal policies, but people were going to feel the pain temporarily. That’s what is happening right now. But better days are on the horizon for America!
As to NATO, Trump is absolutely doing the right thing by pulling troops out of Germany, Italy and Spain. They have obstructed America and been disloyal to us at every turn. Frederich Merz, Giorgi Meloni and Pedro Sanchez were biting the hand that feeds them. Now all of a sudden, because Trump is moving these troops, Frederich Merz is lavishing America with praise and has changed his tune to a rousing chorus of the Star-Spangled Banner. Meloni is on TV begging Trump to keep American troops in Italy. Italy and Spain really don’t deserve or need to have out boys there. They are under no threat at all. We don’t really even need the Ramstein Air Base anymore. We could put it in Casablanca and honestly, I think we should. Morocco is in a much more troubled part of the world than Germany is. Morocco by the way is not being a pain like Germany under Merz is. Donald Tusk doesn’t like Trump and doesn’t want U.S. troops in Poland. But Karol Nawrocki has sense and disagrees. He’s called for U.S. troops to be sent to Poland and stationed there permanently. They should be! Italy and Spain’s troops should go to the Poles! They denied us flyover rights during the war with Iran and they denied them to us in 1982 when Reagan bombed Libya. But once they realized they’d lose their welfare, they all of a sudden are falling all over themselves to show much they love America. What a coincidence! 😉 Our NATO allies need to stop being dead beats and pull their weight!
