An excellent quick discussion between Cary Dunst and Dr. Martin on NTD News! The results of the Republican primaries were most enlightening! This primary wasn’t about the establishment GOP vs. MAGA. That battle is over, the establishment is dead. This is now about who is going to represent MAGA, people who will stay loyal to the principles of the movement or posers? Thomas Massie is an antisemite who is constantly spewing conspiracy theories about how the Jews control our government, that Donald Trump is their puppet, they made us go to war in Iran, yada yada, etc. Not to mention he voted for horrendous things like shutting down the government and to defund ICE. It wasn’t all that close either. Ed Gallrein a former Navy SEAL, even had Donald Trump’s endorsement. It’s Massie’s own fault he lost. He trafficked in conspiracy theories about Jews and Israel, embraced Nazis and antisemites on the campaign trail and went on the shows of odious individuals like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens.
That coupled with the fact he totally betrayed his constituents destroyed his career and doomed him. Mitch McConnell is an old fart who had no business being in office anymore. He was too old and was more interested in serving himself than his constituents. Andy Barr or Daniel Cameron would be a huge upgrade over him. Bill Cassidy sealed own fate when he introduced a bill to restrict President Trump’s war powers in Iran. The GOP is firmly Trump’s party now and conservative populism is the future! Pat Buchanan is probably looking at the GOP right now like a proud papa because it is he who provided the material that Donald Trump used to build the modern GOP. John Cornyn is old, out of touch and needs to go check into a retirement home and pour himself a bowl of Raisin Bran. His days in the Senate are over. Ken Paxton will make a great Senator for the great state of Texas! As to the Governor’s race in California, I hope Steve Hilton or Sheriff Chad Bianco can win. Those two are the only hope the Golden State has of being turned around. Xavier Becarra would just be more of the same of what Gavin Newsom did.
Totally agree with you McConnell as much as I can’t stand him now I will be forever grateful to him for blocking Obama’s SCOTUS pick. Merck Garland! Can you imagine SCOTUS with him and KBJ? We’d never recover from those two.
