This wrong abuse of love is very destructive and often used against Christians.

During the campaign ( sussessful) here in Australia to legalise homosexual marriages, the frequent argument was how unfair it was trying to stop 2 homosexual people who loved each other from getting married.

Those who spoke against homosexual marriage were abused because they were unloving and trying to stop others from loving their partner.

Using the "must love others argument" to approve and promote sin is simply sinful and serves satan.

Failing to call out sin, or warn others they need to change their lives to accept Jesus or they are going to hell for eternity is not loving just because telling the truth will upset someone.

A true friend IS showing love by acting to speak the truth.
