As you know, in the summer of 2014, Galectin Therapeutics was sued for assorted frivolous things (damning if true, but ludicrously untrue). This took place in consequence of a very dramatic drop in the share price which we strongly believe was a coordinated attack by criminal short-sellers, much like the attacks conducted against Overstock.com.
Late last week, we were vindicated. Both federal lawsuits were dismissed with prejudice.
Now, let's just see if our FDA Fast Tracked drug really works (it's in Phase II now), and if so, this can all just be a tense part of the movie.
