Question (from Whitney Scates): What would be the best route to fight for closed primaries?
Answer: Wherever we do not have them, we need to campaign for them, push our legislators to enact them, and if necessary, seek to get them on the ballot, and then explain why they're necessary to our fellow citizens.
The uninformed tend to think open primaries encourage democracy. They do not: they suppress it. Open primaries are exactly the same as if you let the local Satanic cult come to your church and vote on who should be your preacher.
It's crazy.
