A very enlightening segment all-around with Frank Gaffney and Dr. Rod Martin on Securing America! Texas is 100% right to ban Sharia Law. No one is saying let’s ban the Muslim faith. Regular Islamic religious practice is totally fine and covered by the first amendment. But Sharia Law is another matter altogether. Sharia Law imposes a totalitarian, illiberal political ideology on the people who live under it. Honor killings, dowries, child marriage, animal sacrifices, female genital mutilation, acid attacks, and Islamic morality police have no place in the land of the free and the home of the brave! Nor are they protected by the U.S. Constitution. Governor Abbott did the right thing there is no doubt about that. I was not aware any state had adopted open primaries yet and was surprised to hear Texas has. Nor have I ever heard any argument against open primaries before so Dr. Martin’s case against them was most informative!

There is no question that now is the time for regime change in Iran. There is a very clear America first case for the toppling of the Islamic Republic. If the Ayatollahs are toppled from power and Iran is freed, America, the West and Israel will have a powerful new ally. Russia and China will lose their most important ally. Islamist terrorist groups will lose their number one funder and their funding will dry up. Their ballistic missile and nuclear programs will be ceased forever. Israel, the moderate Arab regimes and the Kurds will be safer. Women in Iran will be emancipated. Ethnic, religious and racial minorities will no longer face persecution or discrimination. It will open the door for democracy in Iran one day. Their toppling is in America’s interest because with the Ayatollahs out of the picture, we can focus on China. The Indo-Pacific region should be the focus of our attention not the Middle East.

Saudi Arabia not wanting us to attack Iran is downright bizarre. I guess they fear a wider war breaking out. But that’s not what Trump intends to do. We’re not talking about a full-on military invasion of Iran by the United States. We won’t be occupying Iran for twenty-years or fighting insurgents. I think we can all agree left, right and center, that nobody wants that. We’ve learned our lesson from Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and Libya why that doesn’t work. More likely, Trump will order surgical strikes on Iran or he will do a raid to arrest the Ayatollahs as he did Maduro. As for Trump’s attempts at negotiation with Iran, he’s just going through the motions. The things he wants they can’t and won’t agree to. But he’s doing it anyway because he wants to make sure he exhausts all options before doing military operations against Iran. He’s moved a massive fleet into the Persian Gulf with the assistance of NATO. Something is coming and it will be soon.

Rod, You’ve been saying it’s only a matter of time before Trump drops the hammer, but the Iranian people are being murdered by the thousands while these “negotiations” drag on. It’s painful and discouraging to watch. Certainly there are assets already in place who can decapitate the ayatollah and destroy much of the IRGC. Why delay another day? If he’s trying to show that he’s giving them a chance for a peaceful solution, that ship has long sailed. He must act to stop the slaughter!

Because our forces aren't fully in place yet, and there's no way to teleport a Carrier Strike Group.

But yes, he's going to act, decisively.
