You are absolutely correct in everything you say here, Rod! Communism, Socialism and Anarchism are driven by envy. Capitalism is driven by gratitude. America is driven by gratitude. By people who work hard and make something of them themselves from all over the world, all races and creeds and from all backgrounds. It is for this reason America is one of the greatest countries on Earth where one has the freedom to be successful. No one stands in their way or holds them down. Gratitude opens doors for everyone! Be grateful for your country, family, friends, home, food, clothing, pets, and freedoms. 99.9% of the people on this Earth don’t have the liberties we Americans are privileged to.
The United States is going through a rough time in its history and has many flaws, no doubt. But we despite the speed bumps we are dealing with, we have SO much to be thankful for as a nation. Look at the beautiful diverse landscapes, peoples and regional cultures we have in America. We’ve got Hershey’s, Coca Cola, Hollywood, The National Parks, Broadway, the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, College Sports, NASCAR, Cape Cod, beautiful small towns, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Fried Chicken, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Banana Splits, the Oreo Cookie, Disneyworld, so much rich, complex history, and much, much more!
We have some of the best universities in the world, are the number one exporter of oil and natural gas on the planet, generate 26% of the world’s wealth, top the rankings for quality of healthcare, we are a popular destination for immigrants, one of the least racist, most inclusive countries in the world, one of the wealthiest nations in the world, the world’s strongest military, some of the strongest civil liberty protections one can imagine, we have the world’s largest nominal GDP, and one of the world’s three leading superpowers. Furthermore, the mainstream media exaggerates how divided we are as a nation. In truth, most people get along each day. It’s just the rigid partisans and extremists you see on the news. But they don’t represent the silent majority of us: left, right and center, Democrat, Republican and Independent, male and female, white, black and brown, Christian, Jewish and Muslim, gay and straight, North and South. Also, Thanksgiving is no celebration of genocide or ethnic cleansing. It is a day we get together with family and have a wonderful meal and give thanks to God for all our blessings. Plus, 98.9% of Native Americans celebrate it just like all the rest of us.
Thank you Mr Martin. I appreciate all your reports, they are very helpful to understand the difficult geopolitics, pretty much everywhere. Your Christian voice with wisdoms is very comforting as well. Thank you.
"Envy is the foundational value of Socialism"
Truer words have not been spoken. Its like Race, Gender...I Don't Care! I DO care about what kind of person you are.
Happy Thanksgiving Day my American People!
