A Drudge Report main headline, a profile in a major lefty journal, all about my friend Ted Cruz.

National Journal profiles the Texas Senator's prospects through the lens of foreign policy.  And well they should:  a smart foreign policy would absolutely set Sen Ted Cruz apart from his rivals and opponents. Obama’s catastrophic drift has emboldened the enemies of freedom all across the world. Hillary's status as a "hawk" is only in comparison to Obama, whose foreign relations she led as Secretary of State for four disastrous years: hippies hate her, but only because they would find George McGovern too far right today. And in a Republican field ranging from no experience (Christie, Walker, Romney) to no clue (Paul), Cruz really is a breath of fresh air.

America desperately needs a President who gets all three planks of the Conservative stool: social, fiscal, defense.  Republicans need that too:  it's the only way they'll be able to "count to 51." Ted Cruz, like Reagan before him, is solid …
