NATO has never been closer to dissolution. But is it actually that close? Should we really care? And what must happen to turn our freeloading "allies" into partners not dependents.
A masterful analysis as always by Dr. Martin on NTD News! The NATO Summit should be pretty quiet as our allies eventually got off their rear ends and helped us in Iran. But what it shows us with Britain, France and Germany refusing to help and Italy and Spain denying us overflight rights, is that our NATO allies aren’t always the most reliable. That is why Donald Trump is pushing them harder than ever to increase defense spending and the size of their militaries which they finally have agreed to do. The British, French, Germans, Italians, and Spaniards all need to start spending like crazy as do all the other NATO nations. That would solve their industrial problems. It would boost their economy and put a lot of people to work! They would also have a strong military to defend their own country. They need to stop living off us their parents and get out of the basement, get a job, and earn a living for themselves! Trump is the strict father giving them the tough love they need! He’s also making energy deals to get them off Russian energy and get them to buy from Texas, Louisiana and Alaska instead. His historic trade deal with Europe will help all this too. As American goods can easily get into Europe. Everyone will get rich and have plenty of fuel! Ukraine is kicking Russia’s butt right now but that’s no thanks to NATO. The United States largely has given them the material they need to win. Meanwhile, NATO sent billions to Putin to power his war machine. European countries splurge on welfare but spend next to nothing on defense. That’s got to stop and that what Trump is pushing them to do!
Denmark can’t afford all this welfare their giving the Greenlanders and they’ve never treated them well, especially the Inuit people of Greenland. They sterilized their women well into the 1990s for gosh sakes! Nor do they have the technology to get at their abundant natural resources. The Danes have no reason to keep a hold of Greenland. The United States can give Greenland the deal of a lifetime! All the benefits of sovereignty without any of the immense costs! We can also extract their mineral wealth and make sure that everyone including them, get rich off it! A compact of free association with Greenland will be excellent for both parties! Russia and China need to be made to stay out of the Western Hemisphere. This is yet another way of locking them out.
