Plaintiff Mark Janus Post-Decision

by Rod D. Martin
June 27, 2018

Today's Supreme Court ruling in Janus is a body blow to the unions (and thus the Democrats). Because without seas of union cash and "volunteers", the Democrat ground organization shrivels like a raisin.

For reference: when Scott Walker did this to the obscene teachers union in Wisconsin, more than half the union quit in the first year.

Mandatory union dues for people who don’t want to join are the single most potent state-enforced funding mechanism for the Democrat Party. It’s not the only one. There are none for Republicans (duh), because Democrats used their near-monopoly power over Congress for 70 years to bake a thousand things like this into America's legal and regulatory cake. That means, in this way and a thousand others, the state is subsidizing one party -- with billions in tax dollars -- out of the pockets of the other.

How Third World is that?

This ruling is real #DrainTheSwamp. It's also the biggest #DefundTheLeft …
