I did it! I downloaded & printed out your daily Bible verses and the important dates on the timeline, downloaded the Olive Tree app on my phone, and caught up to date with my Bible reading today. I read the Bible a lot but have never actually read it through. I'll do it this year! Thanks much. Blessings.

What version of the bible or app is best to download?

I am especially fond of Olive Tree, which is feature-rich and for which there are both phone and computer apps that sync quite neatly (so you have your notes, highlights, reading plan, etc., everywhere at once). It comes with several free translations that are really good, but since it's a Harper Collins product it also has everything else imaginable, usually very inexpensively. I easily have 30 different translations on mine -- largely for quick reference to see how different translation teams approached some particular passage -- as well as several study Bibles and commentaries, plus maps.

I know there are other good possibilities, but this is the one I use.
