Hopefully, the next 'potential' land acquisitions ... Cuba, Columbia, Chile, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Yukon, NW Territories, and Saskatchewan.

An impressive performance by Dr. Martin on NTD News! Nothing you said in that segment was not a fact, Dr. Martin! The United States would never actually launch a military invasion of Greenland! But Trump wants everyone especially the Danes, to think that everything including invasion and seizing the island by force is on the table to keep them off balance so he has maximum leverage in negotiating a good deal for the United States. Again, read his books or watch old segments of The Apprentice if you want to understand his negotiation tactics. Greenland 🇬🇱 should definitely enter into a compact of free association with the United States just as the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands and the Republic of Palau do. That way they can get all the benefits of being sovereign without all the costs. Greenland’s people wish to be independent of Denmark. But that is impossible because they would be both impoverished overnight and would be totally unable to defend themselves given that they have no army to speak of and can barely afford their police force.

So this would be the next best thing for Greenland. If they made this deal with the United States, every Greenlander would become filthy rich overnight. Such an arrangement would also enrich the Danes as they can’t make any money of Greenland as they can’t develop it any further. This deal is a win-win-win for everybody! The Danes have no idea that Donald Trump is actually doing them a huge favor! Another benefit of what Trump is doing? It will push Denmark and all of NATO to do what they already pledged to do which was increase defense spending and the size of their militaries by five percent. The nations of the West need to stop depending on us to protect them and stand on their own two feet.

Also, a Greenland that freely associates with the United States and has plenty of protections from Denmark will be able to drive out the Russians and Chinese yet again, pushing them out of our hemisphere and protecting the people of Greenland from being exploited or enslaved by them. Just as he did with his strikes on the narco trafficking boats and the capture of Maduro and his wife, he is staying true to the reborn Monroe Doctrine, and keeping Russia and China out of the Western Hemisphere. Greenland is crucial to U.S. security for this reason.

You want to talk about colonialism or imperialism as leftists like to do, well what do you call Greenland? That’s Danish colonialism in action right there! The United States isn’t seeking to send in the Marines, seize Greenland by force and subjugate its peoples politically and culturally. We seek only to secure our hemisphere with Greenland’s assistance. We don’t want their country, we want their cooperation in fighting Russia and China. The Danes are the ones who’ve dominated over the Greenlanders for centuries. I urge the Danes and the Greenlanders to make a deal as soon as possible with the United States for the good of all concerned!
