👏👏👏 Thank you, Dr. Martin for this most informative segment on Stakelbeck Today! Also, Happy Presidents’ Day! 🇺🇸🫡 Happy Birthday to Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln! 🎉🎂🥳 The situation in Iran is critical right now. President Trump will try his best with peaceful negotiations with Iran but I don’t think they’re gonna go anywhere. The President is getting his ducks in a row for something but what it could be is anyone’s guess. The United States and our NATO allies are sending ships into the Gulf Coast to put the Ayatollahs on notice.

Some of that is to protect existing infrastructure but a fleet this big clearly indicates that is not all this is about. Whatever Trump’s plan is, I pray it works. China’s military and nuclear build up is most troubling. The START Treaty (which has officially expired) was never something the Chinese were ever a part of. They are doing this to compensate for their depopulation crisis which can’t be reversed anytime soon. Within the next decade they know they’ve got to get as much as they can before it’s too late.

They see themselves as the Middle Kingdom between Heaven and Earth. The Center Kingdom is another way to translate to in English. Either way, they are sending a message there: we are the ones who are meant to rule the world! The Earth is our domain! We are the center of human civilization! That can’t be allowed to become reality! President Trump must act to weaken China economically and use every means at his disposal to get them to come to the table and cut a deal with the United States and enter into a nuclear arms reduction agreement. The United States must also negotiate a START III Treaty with Russia.

Cuba’s Communist government is on its last legs. Miguel Diaz Canel’s days are numbered. Cuba is already a very poor country. They survived with aid from the USSR which they long haven’t been able to get. Russia can’t help them as they’ve got their own problems. Venezuela under Delcy Rodriquez is now cooperating with the United States. Their buddy Maduro is no longer there to give them oil and indirectly, cash. The United States has blocked their shadow oil trade. Cuba can no longer get oil from Venezuela. Mexico will soon cease oil sales to Cuba. China imports not exports oil so there’s nothing at all they can do for Cuba.

A transition to democracy is coming to Cuba. Venezuela is also heading in that direction slowly but surely. President Trump’s enforcement of the Monroe Doctrine has been most effective in driving our enemies out of our hemisphere. Javier Milei has been most successful as President of Argentina. Chile and Bolivia elected new pro-American, pro-western, right-wing governments as did several other countries in Latin America. The Western Hemisphere is rapidly going our way. As to Greenland, Trump will eventually get what he wants. Greenland is crucial to securing the hemisphere just as it was during WWII. The Russians and the Chinese will infiltrate it if we don’t step up and protect Greenland from them just as we protected it against the Nazis in World War II and the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

Greenland’s vast oil and mineral wealth must also not fall into Putin or Xi’s hands. Will President Trump close the deal? I believe he will, it’s only a matter of time. As to the midterms, I thought up until recently there would be a blue wave and the Democrats would dominate. But I no longer think so. I now think the Republicans will retain power. President Trump has many accomplishments to point to, the Supreme Court is likely to throw out these gerrymandering plans by the Democrats, and the Democrats had built up momentum with the whole situation in Minneapolis but they will most likely squander it as as usual, they have no strategy to achieve the things they seek to do. Nothing will likely come of their push for ICE reform.

And Dinesh D'Souza's "Ronald Reagan" is still the best short biography of the greatest 20th century president. Paul Kengor's work is next-level.
