IMO This is a huge problem for believers . We say “ this doesn’t affect my life or my walk with Christ “ until it does! As believers we most definitely need to be alight in our communities. We need to be on school boards, sitting on the local city counsel board running for office at every level. Our light can’t shine if no one see it! “ you need to trust God and understand we win in the end” they say . Yes I trust God. I trust Him to give me wisdom and discernment when asked for . He has given us a spirit of Power not fear Walk on it! We were blessed with the most incredible country on the earth founded by Godly men ,ignoring its down fall because we’ve already got our ticket to heaven is not only not Christ like. It is selfish cowardice again in my humble opinion. We are not of this world but we are walking in this world so while doing so Be the light you were called to be shine the light of Christ in the dark places .
Everything affects everything, and every area we leave to "someone else" is an area we are ceding to Christ's enemies, with tragic results for everyone we've given into their power. It's long past time we realized it.
I am a liberal Lutheran who does not agree with Pastor Clary on everything he has written here. But I do agree with him on his overall points. Christians need to reject gender ideology which is evil and a tool of the devil and weakness and being nice in the name of God is a big time loser theology that will never make the world a better place. It will only allow evil to destroy it! The Devil just loves this passive theology that thinks weakness is a virtue in of itself. This is all nonsense! Look, let me be clear here. I’m a theological liberal I don’t believe that homosexuality is a sin and I support gay marriage, gay rights and Trans rights. But all that being said, I despise gender ideology which is the spawn of Satan as far I’m concerned. Just because a child is confused about their gender does NOT make them Trans. If your child starts using different pronouns and a different name and identifying as the opposite gender, you do NOT affirm them! You take them to a licensed professional to help them figure out who they really are. Will a minority of these children turn out to be Transgender when they reach adulthood? Yes. But most will not, most have something else going on. They could be gay or lesbian, autistic, dealing with severe depression, a tomboy or an effeminate boy, or are just going through a phase. But if you “affirm” what they believe about themselves at the time and then they make irreversible physical changes to their body that damage them forever, that will be on your conscience! Nor should they be told to join an LGBT club nor should teachers or counselors encourage them or tell them that they are Trans when they are qualified and have no clue what they’re talking about. Nor does the child for that matter. They’re not mature enough nor is their brain developed enough. Children and teens have no idea what they’re doing and they change their mind like the wind. Where they are actually Trans are not can only be determined with time and treatment from a psychologist or a therapist. Schools certainly shouldn’t be doing this behind the backs of parents.
My heart goes out to Abigail Martinez. The state had no right to take Yaeli away from her just because she wanted to do what was best for her precious daughter! Her mother wasn’t going to abuse her just because she thought she was Trans, she loved her irregardless and just wanted to help her daughter figure out what was really gone on with her. Not long after, Yaeli took her own life. It turns out she wasn’t Trans, she had a serious form of depression and it drove her to end her own life. As Christians regardless of what are theological views are, we can’t be silent while horrific things like this happen. I’m a theological liberal but I despise gender ideology and I will stand before the Rod Martin Report’s audience today and say that I condemn it and I condemn what happened to Abigail Martinez in the strongest possible terms! Us followers of Christ regardless of denomination or theological views must unite together to fight this great evil and drive it from our society.
Weakness is NOT something God wants us to seek out for its own sake. God wants us to be strong and have the courage to call out sin and injustices when we see them in our world! Nor does he want to meekly submit to whatever ideology dogma rules the day. Having confidence is not pride nor is winning or fighting for what we believe in wrong. A church must have a spine in order to protect its flock. We cannot stand by and allow identity politics, gender ideology and Islamism to conquer us! As the Bible tells us, Jesus gives us power and expects us to wield it righteously. We must use our power as believers to fight for what’s right and call out the great evils infecting American and more broadly, western society. We must call out schools for teaching critical race theory, ethnic sturdiest and gender ideology. We must denounce mass immigration from the third world. We must not tolerate DEI or radical feminism. Christians must stand strong for the word of God and the values that built this country and western civilization!
