Senior British Advisor: Obama 'Incapable,' 'Crazy'

Sir Hew Strachan, an expert on the history of war, says that the president’s strategic failures in Afghanistan and Syria have crippled America’s position in the world.

It is extraordinary for a top British military advisory to speak directly against a sitting U.S. President. It is even more so when he's my former director of studies at Cambridge.

Sir Hew Strachan is widely recognized as one of the most brilliant military historians of our time, and his work in the area of The Great War is particularly noteworthy. These days he hails from Oxford, but when I had the deep and life-shaping honor of being his pupil, he was Senior Tutor at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University. He is kind, patient, astonishingly intelligent, and just a truly wonderful human being.
